In the stunning conclusion to the series, Kiera has been arrested for murder. Stuck behind bars for a murder she didn’t commit, Kiera can’t see a way out and pushes both Ray and her friends away. Despite Kiera’s attempts to distance herself, Sid refuses to sit back and remains determined to prove Kiera’s innocence. She and Trent throw themselves into the investigation, potentially risking their jobs in the process.

While Sid works to uncover the truth, Ray is nowhere to be found after disappearing without a word. Will Sid and Trent solve the mystery before Kiera’s fast-tracked trial, or has Kiera’s past finally caught up with her? The truths uncovered provide a shocking end to the Taco Truck Mysteries.

I enjoyed this book.
I am sad to see this series come to an end, however the author has left it open for a possible return. Fingers crossed because I like the character.
This concludes the series and as a consequence we see a number of things getting wrapped up or revealed, so I would recommend reading the previous books before starting this one.
In this book it is Kiera that is in trouble and facing a murder charge, so while she is in jail or in the court room, it's her friends trying to clear her name. This means the story is told by multiple characters as the fast moving story races to the end and contains a few surprises. The courtroom scenes add to the drama and mystery and I loved it.
I had my suspicions after the last book about who was involved but I must admit I had forgotten my unease with that particular character and was there fore surprised with the ending. I can't wait to see what the author has in store next.

With her cover in the witness protection blown, Kiera and her handler Ray are in the process of setting up a new identity and preparing to move, leaving behind all there friends. However before they can put there plan into action the man who was responsible for sending Kiera into hiding is found dead. With a witness putting her there at the time of the murder, Kiera fears her past has finally caught up with her and she prepares to spend the rest of her life in jail for a murder she didn't commit. Sid, Trent, Ray and Corn refuse to give up on her but can they find us truth in time to set her free?

I like the narrator. He helps to bring the characters to life and provides some fun voices for both the female and make characters. I hope he continues to be the author's narrator of choice on what ever the next project is.

A brilliantly crafted story in which Kiera is arrested, Sid is the best friend ever (and goes to Quantico!), and Corn gets a mysterious new boyfriend. The captivating characters match a gripping plot full of surprises, and as a bonus there is a mouthwatering recipe at the end. Jeff Moon’s performance is top-notch.

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

This final book in the Taco Truck Mysteries series is a great listen. Drama abounds as Kiera finds herself accused of murder, making this an exciting and fitting conclusion to the series. As with the previous books, Dennis Shock delivers a well-written mystery with engaging characters, and he wraps up Kiera's story in a satisfying way. Jeff Moon's narration is excellent, bringing the characters and story to life. I'm sorry to see the end of Kiera's adventures, but I look forward to seeing what Dennis has in store for us next.
