Josh Cooper, top US security field agent, is sent on an inter-agency assignment to London, when a partner in his firm goes missing in suspicious circumstances. Used to working in sole charge of his well-honed team, he clashes heads with the handsome, but pompous Cal, his UK cooperator and superior. Josh's gut tells him something is wrong. He's being kept out of the loop and Cal's agenda is running on a different path.

He also has a personal issue to deal with. He's involved in a cyber-relationship with "Charlie", an unknown man who connected with Josh by accident. Their banter has led to deeper respect and a sexual interest, but now Josh is faced with a growing attraction to Cal. Between this conflict and the tension of the mission, Josh's heart and head are overworked and confused. Things can't get much worse.

Then Josh discovers the enemies he's seeking have a new target: him.

This is a really good detective crime story. There is a good plot with a romance growing between the main characters. The main characters are likeable and the narrator gives the characters their own identity, which just makes listening to a lot easier. Especially when the characters have there own accents. It can be quite entertaining at times.

I would definitely listen to more from this narrator and most definitely read more from this author.

Excellent book with playing plenty of twists and turns. What really annoys me though is when your told about the follow-up book 'Goodnight my Angel', only to discover that this book is only available on Kindle, and is not available on audible! This really gets me down. I have a degenerative spinal injury which is presently getting worse to the extent where I find is easier to lie down. My hands are also being affected to the extent where I am unable to hold Kindle in my hands to read, as a result, Audible is excellent in meeting my needs. Why advise on Audible of the follow-up book, to any book which you have read, not just this one, when it isn't available on the Audible appt?

Can someone explain this to me?

Excellent book however big let down by Audible!!!!!
