The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Everything the pack has been fighting for, they finally achieved. But it wasn't the end. It was nothing like they expected. There are consequences for every action, good or bad, and Amber must now face down the inevitable fallout from her choices. She asked her allies to trust her. To follow her. And they did. Now they're all paying for it.

The sky is streaked with fire. Magic has gone haywire. And their enemies are breathing down their necks. The final battle is here, and losing is not an option.

Easy to listen to, another great story in this series.
Narrator was excellent her variations in tone and cadence of each character defined them as separate entities from the very first book. I enjoyed the story line and the humour in which it was written. I laughed and cried! This is definitely a series of books I will listen to again.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series

I'm totally addicted to this series. It's not your average werewolf book, it's got everything you want, werewolves, vampires, trolls, angels and demons. It does have romance but it's not the story line, SPOILER ALERT Amber is one of the last to actually fall in love. There's also some great humour which literally made me LOL, just glad I wasn't on a bus! Still loving the narrator, I think she's bring the characters to life.

Think this is the best book out of the whole story. The author has done the story justice with a great ending.
