Lead me not into temptation...

Easier said than done when your name is Deacon Jacobs and temptation is your drug of choice. The woman with a broken soul shouldn’t even have registered on his radar, but a wolf wants what a wolf wants. Sparks fly between the feisty female and the arrogant wolf, but Gemma got caught in the Midnight Pack’s crossfire once before, and now, all she wants is to forget.

A familiar enemy resurfaces, but all is not as it seems, and the pack closes ranks to face what could be their toughest challenge yet. The risks are daunting, but Deacon will gamble everything, including his life, to ensure Gemma’s safety.

I relished Deacon and Cassie's story and their back and forth. They had a charged connection with fiery chemistry. Deacon's character was my absolute favourite, with his hotness and personality, he added zeal to the story.

Midnight Temptation is a well written paranormal shifter romance, with a great plot and captivating characters. L. Ann's writing is terrific, well-paced with great delivery. This was my first time listing to Mike Peterman. I enjoyed his performance, especially the distinctive tones for the various characters.

Overall, this was a splendid listen and I can't wait to see what's next in the Midnight Pack series. I highly recommend this audiobook, especially to all fans of paranormal, shifter romance.

This is the second book in the series overlapping some of the previous book focusing more on one of the other brothers story and continuing it. Shape shifting wolfs how's pack is under attack by hunters and one of there own? Mysteries and truths revealed, while trying to be there for someone who has been through an offal ordeal and he is also facing his own emotions. The story is well read and there is still more to come in the story. Like the other book there is explicit sexaul seens in the story, which is part of the shapeshifter nature.

Deacon is fabulous his sarcasm is epic but Gemma tells him and anyone else who will listen to her that she hates him. However Deacons not giving up and goes out of his way to annoy Gemma ,it’s his way of showing her he likes her. Loved listening to this and couldn’t help laughing at Deacon 😂
