This book should be the third novel you try in French, right after you check out Merde, French Is Hard...but Fun!, volume two in this series!

Going through a book in French can be difficult, even for advanced students. French novels are usually full of idiomatic expressions. They use complicated tenses, complex sentence structures, and often slang. The books in this series are in simple French. They tell of the joys and the frustrations of an adult learning French. You'll find a good dose of humor and exercises.

Note: This book contains adult language.

The book has two sections, allowing more levels of French students to enjoy it.

  • Section one has the story written completely in French and includes grammar exercises.
  • Section two contains the complete translation in English and the answers to the exercises.

Please note: This audiobook is in French.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and, unusually for me, was able to understand most of it. An interesting account of visiting Paris spoken in the clearest simple French. Would recommend to anyone who wants to further their understanding of spoken French.

Excellent for honing listening skills
