The one thing I love about my life is that when I go through shit, I'm not alone. The club's always got my back. I've been seeing Vail for a while now and when a series of old photographs are brought to light, Vail almost leaves. I almost lost the best thing in my damn life. While things might've been fine, I wasn't going to simply let it go.

I was gonna find who was trying to ruin my happiness, and I'd make sure they had hell to pay.

Only, after a while it wasn't just affecting me. This person was going after Vail, and none of us would have that.

Brilliant narration from Jason Fella

Vanir is a man who doesn’t do relationships. His past has scared him and made him the man he is. Vail is a strong wonderful woman and all she want is to be Vanir. Vail has given up waiting and tells Vanir. The same time a stalker appears and a surprise for them both.
Danger, drama, family, chemistry and spice.

Vanir and Vail are the main couple focused on in this delicious audiobook story. Lots of emotions stirring with the characters and the plot had many twists and turns. It completely held my attention and there were some very suspenseful moments too. This is a great story and the narrator also did a very nice job.

Well Vail went through it all with Vanir, apartment destroyed, explicit photos, car crash and pregnancy, all that and she still wanted him even though he was pushing her away. Chemistry was hot between these too. They were both trying to deal with their past, glad they found a happy ever after, after dealing with the stalker. Enjoying these books so far. No funny parts like the others in this one.

This is Book 5 in the Raiders of Valhalla MC series. They are interconnected & best read in a row (not standalones... you CAN technically read it alone, but you will miss out on some). The epilogue leaves a teaser that sets up the next book.

This is Vail & Vanir's story. They have an on & off relationship & someone is trying to interfere with it... I do like their club life & the characters in the series.

The books are pretty fast paced... I like the characters overall & the MC... It's also a pretty short book, an afternoon/evening listen.

I wish that there were 2 narrators.... he's easy enough to understand, but it makes it hard to follow who is talking since it's only one voice (it goes back & forth & it says at the beginning of each chapter who is talking).

When it comes to love Vanir has experienced the pain that it could bring and has closed himself off to going through that again. He enjoys his casual relationship with Vail and doesn’t want it to change however when she wants more he will have to decide whether to let or walk away or if being with her is worth the risk.

Vail is aware of the way that Vanir feels, and he has made his opinion on the subject clear. She was happy with what he was offering for a while, but she now realizes that it is no longer enough especially when the danger and surprises keep coming.

The growth of Vanir’s character as he realizes that protecting his heart could cause him to lose the woman he loves was wonderful to see especially as the suspense part of the story escalates. Jason Fella manages to find the perfect balance between the suspense and romance parts of the story and has you immersed into the story.
