After surviving a harsh winter, Eli finds himself in a unique situation when a long-lost dungeon is discovered on the property. It could be the perfect proving ground for the students who have earned their Class, but it could also become their tomb.
It also doesn't help that the town of Last Stop is in danger. The Edgelands are creeping in and gobbling up entire cities overnight. With nowhere else to take the children, it's up to Eli to come up with a solution to both problems that only a Master Enchanter could accomplish. With the love of a few good women by his side, anything is possible.

Disliked: Describing same long skill explanations too many times. We already know what they do as most of them was repeated many times in book 1 also.

[This enchantment allows the user to convert mana into temporary stamina points at a ratio of 100 to 1.]
[Charges left: 52 out of 55.]
[System note: Better than coffee honestly!]
Now imagine that every single time Eli activates one of his enchantments - of which there can be multiple per encounter and per chapter. It gets very annoying very quickly, sometimes it's a solid 3 minutes of just reading out enchantment descriptions. We know what they do, we don't care about how many charges are left unless it's low, and we don't need the system note every single time.
Great story, but didn't learn from book 1

Included adult mature interactions, even that was less of them than previous book, were high quality and worth listening time.
The interacting between adult characters and children.
