Falling for each other was never part of the plan….

Doctor Sage Porter has moved to Marble Falls to be the private physician for a group of men unlike any the world has ever known. But she has a second, secret reason for moving to the small town. A reason she can’t share with another living soul…especially not the men under her care.

Mason Ross is a born guardian. Protecting his team and their families comes naturally, and he’ll do anything to keep them safe—but what if the peril is less than obvious? Like the gorgeous doctor who’s caught his attention. She’s hiding something. And Mason is more than aware that secrets can be deadly, and sometimes the least likely threat poses the greatest danger. Getting close is a risk; both Mason and Sage have a lot to lose…including each other, if they can’t work together to survive the coming menace.

I am so caught up in this series, each book building on the last, and I am love getting to know all the team members! This one is Mason who has his eye on the cute doctor who takes care of the team and baby Fletcher. Does he trust the good doctor? No, he doesn't trust anyone. Sage has come to Marble Falls with a few intentions. She loves her job and the baby is her priority. Or is it? Whatever the reason, it doesn't stop her from falling for the handsome man. Project Arma is still looking for the baby, and when they can't get to him, figure his doctor is the next best thing Will she give up information about Fletcher? Will her secret be the demise of the team? This is a complex story, giving up some new faces as well as cementing the old ones in place. This story is packed with action and suspense right along with the spice I love. Nyssa Kathryn has pulled me into this world, and I feel like I am experiencing it all right along with the team. Mason is that protector, the one that is easily fallen for and his warmth is like a hug. But he can be ruthless when it comes to keeping those he loves safe. Sage is loyal to a fault, and her loyalty is what could keep her alive. She is quite the woman, and dives head first into a world that is scary! Loved this installment and I cannot wait for more!

JF Harding and Heather Costa pull out the one of the best performances of this series. Harding is one of my favorites, and as Mason he is fabulous. He is that alpha male, strong, loyal and will do whatever it takes to keep his team and Sage safe. Every feeling this man has is evident in Harding's narration. Costa comes in with a heartfelt voice, and knowing her choices, she makes her fear and devotion come through in a realistic way and had my heart holding it all right along with her. Loved this team!

This is the fourth book in the Project Arma Series, an interconnected series with an ongoing plot. This series is captivating. Mason and Sage's story is entertaining, emotional, suspenseful, and fast-paced, filled with secrets, mystery, and twists and turns. Mason is very handsome, and protective. Sage is such a wonderful character, strong, smart, and determined. The supporting characters are amazing. I loved to see again the characters from the first books. J.F. Harding and Heather Costa did an outstanding job bringing these characters and this story to life. They are perfect as Mason and Sage. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Wyatt, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series.

I love this audiobook, the narrators were perfectly suited to the characters in this great series.

Mason is untrusting and guarded, and this really comes over in the story, as well as regret and his growing feelings for Sage. JF Harding is one of my favourite narrators and was brilliantly cast here. I’m new to Heather Costa but found her soft delivery of Sage was on point and really portrayed her inner strength.

I really got into this story through the narration and it went by so quickly! A great story which is full of surprises and twists as well as great character interactions and steam.

Highly recommend

This was one of my favourite pairings, the couple are so well suited. But it is more than just romance, you get to feel the bond of family, the intrigue from a twist-y plot, the heart pounding action scenes and the world building. A truly excellent addition to the series.

I am loving the opportunity to listen to these fantastic stories, expertly narrated and presented by two talented performers. Mason is one of my favourite stories in the brilliant Project Arma Series. Doctor Sage Porter is a heroine with secrets and Mason is determined to get to the bottom of them. As always there was non stop action through this story. There is a standalone story in this book but there is also the ongoing Project Arma theme so I recommend the whole series for maximum enjoyment. I unreservedly recommend both this book and the rest of the series

Another Great Performance
