Don't sleep, Mary. Satan's night is near. He will take you and drown you in blood-drenched sin.

Mary Taylor is happy now, married to the man she loves. The years of the Christian Home for Children are behind her, buried in the dark, unspoken folds of memory. But still she awakens to terror, to the hideous acts that gentle Mary would never, ever commit. And someone is killing the girls she knew at the Christian Home.

The past is gathering, hurtling her toward a nightmare tide of apocalyptic horror ... Walpurgis Night ... the great witches' sabbat, the night when the powers of Hell unleash the evil within, the night of the endless screams ...

book had potential, but ending was predictable and pretty lame. also, one or two of the chapters are unedited, so you get the narrator repeating herself and clicking to mark the mistake on the recording. not a huge deal, but surprising

unedited recording of a mediocre book
