A city threatened by an ancient plague. A love across borders. A desperate choice that could break their worlds apart forever.

When a fragment of a deadly map is recovered from a medieval plague pit in London, the Mapwalker team must cross over into the Borderlands, once more. In a race against time, they must find the remaining pieces of the map in a journey across long-lost cities before the Shadow cartographers wield it against Earthside in a devastating attack.

Can Sienna resist the call of the Shadow as she struggles to save her home? Will Finn take a risk on love across borders or leave the Earthsiders to their fate?

Map of Plagues is book two in the Mapwalker Fantasy Adventure trilogy.

As I keep saying that J. F. Penn is one of my favourite authors it will come as no surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed this book.I have read the series before but the titles have only been available as audiobooks recently so I am coming to the books from a new angle. With audiobooks so much depends on the narrator, the book can be wonderful but if the narrator doesn't read it as you want to hear it, then the whole thing is a wash out. Luckily Charlie Sanderson continues to do a marvelous job and brings the story to life.

If you like fantasy novels that are exciting and magical then look no further!

Book 2 in J. F. Penn's excellent Mapwalker series.
