Two very different worlds collide in 1975 at an urban university in the south. These two students are opposites in every way, with one thing in common: an intense attraction. Chicago-born Linda is ready to leave the Black Belt behind, entering the newly-integrated University of Georgia to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney. When she has a chance encounter with a handsome fraternity guy on the campus quad, she cant help but be drawn into his sea-blue eyes. College sophomore Sandy is one of the big men on campus. Although he could have his choice of blonde sorority girls, he cant help but notice the new girl, feeling an instant connection with the quiet and curvy student from up north. Can these two opposites defy societys expectations and prove that love is determined not by the color of ones skin, but by the connection of two hearts? Majoring in Love is a coming-of-age interracial love story and is a prequel to Be One with Me, the second book in the Be With Me contemporary romance series. This short story will answer the question many have asked: who are Sallys parents?©2022 CA Miconi (P)2022 CA Miconi African American Multicultural Samimi Romantik Öğrenci

This book is set in the very beginning of change between whites and blacks. Segregation is abolished and people can love who they want. Great performance.

I so enjoyed getting this first look into what started everything. I’m not a huge fan of books set in the past, even when it’s this recent, but I really enjoyed it. It made me listen to the whole series all over again: it’s definitely worth it.

This quick listen is a fun, sweet listen. Based in 1975, Linda begins her freshman year in college. Coming from Chicago, she is looking forward to her experiences at the University of Georgia. Little did she know how her life would change. Sandy is a fraternity brother, and invites Sandy and her roommate to the first party of the year! He is taken with her beauty and poise and would like to get to know her better. But will Linda be interested in him. This is a flashback to times when interracial couples were still somewhat of a taboo. Their story is a quick, loving look at seeing people for who they are. I loved this quick prequel for the Be One With Me series and look forward to more.

The narration team of Oliver Highpoint and Sydney Zaylin is perfectly cast for this novella. They bring out the new adult feel, the hesitancy and the true love these characters feel. It is a fun listen.

A quick romance!
