Radcliffe Academy is one of the most prestigious magical institutions in the Hidden World. Only the most skilled witches and warlocks grace these hallowed halls.

There's just one teeny, tiny problem.

I don't belong here. At all.

First of all, I'm not a witch. I'm 100 percent grade-A, boring, bona fide human.

Second, this isn't even my life. See, I was out celebrating my 21st birthday when I fell into an open manhole. Next thing I knew, I was being rushed to a hospital, and the EMTs kept asking me if I had allergies to unicorn blood.

Oh, and everybody keeps calling me Roxie - which is definitely not my name.

There's obviously been some kind of mix-up, but I can't let anyone here know that, or I'll be in serious danger.

So, that leaves me with only one option: pretend to be this Roxie chick until I can figure out a way back to my world.

In the meantime, I have to deal with Roxie's arch enemy, who might know I'm not her, a Lothario across the hall with no sense of personal boundaries, and a teacher's assistant who's got a crush on me...er, I mean, Roxie.

No problem. I got this. Should be easy, right?

Don't answer that!

Magic Swap is the first book in the Hidden World Academy series, a medium-burn reverse harem story intended for listeners 18 and above, featuring a sassy human who's a little out of her depth and the three men who win her heart.

The narration was great but I just couldn’t get into the storyline of this one. The idea that you can switch places with someone and no one would notice is an old idea but I guess I just couldn’t get myself to believe that her best friend wouldn’t notice, I think it just made me sad for the character. The writing was good and I liked the characters overall just not my thing.

Magic Swap by Sadie Moss is a medium-burn paranormal reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Pavelec. This is the first book in the Hidden World Academy series.

I absolutely love Sadie's books! She does a great job pulling me into the story and I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I am loving the relationship that's blooming between Gabbi, Cross, Theo, and Kasian.

The book does end on a cliffhanger but that wasn't a surprise since its the first book in the trilogy. I can't wait to dive into the next book Magic Chase so I can get more of Gabbi's story.

Sarah did an amazing job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances, academy romances, reverse harems, or fantasy romance.

Magic Swap, the first book in the Hidden World Academy, is a brilliantly composed urban fantasy blend with fairytale components. Sadie Moss is one of my favourite authors for the genre, she captivates her readers and listeners with her fantastic world-building and colourful characters. I was hooked from the beginning to the very last word. The storyline is absolutely amazing, exciting, and wholly entertaining, with enough twists, and turns to keep me thoroughly engaged. I really liked Gabby, our heroine, she falls into a situation, finding herself travelling from a Dull World to Hidden World, a new world. She does her best to manage the uncertainty, embarking on an adventure to find a way home. The twist at the end is marvellous, it sets the grounds for the second book in the series.

The narration Sarah Pavelec is flawless, doing an incredible job with the characters, literally breathing life into them. Overall, this fabulous listen, one I'd highly recommend.

Terrific!

I like Gabbi. I had fun listening to this story. The narration was done really well. The worlds are so cool. I have to say, the cover is amazing. I wish the sequels were available in audio, since lately I can't find the time to just sit and read a book. I highly enjoy this author.
