Life has a funny way of revealing harsh truths.

Cassie Carl believes she has it all. On the cusp of achieving her professional goals and soon to marry the man of her dreams - the handsome, kind, and loving Stefan Van Allen - it seems she's found the life every woman dreams of.

What else could a girl want?

Peyton Kingston is a beautiful, talented interior designer on the rise, whose sole focus is building her business. She loves what she does and has little time or patience for relationships. She's happy with her life.

What else could a girl need?

When Cassie's wealthy fiancé brings Peyton in to do a renovation on their home before the big engagement party, sparks fly, leaving both Cassie and Peyton to question everything they thought they already had.

What happens when the thin veil of perfection becomes riddled with holes?

Once again an audiobook that's almost perfect. The plot is a typical lesfic storyline with our happy ending (of course), with great characters that you can't help but route for ! The only down side is 'her' narrator makes Peyton sound plain weird even though AS clearly has more appropriate accents in her repertoire because she uses them . GZ is one of my favourite narrator's, her sultry sexy voice conjures up the best 'minds eye' women . Sorry AS but you miss the mark with Peyton.
I just wish publishers paid more attention to the audio product than they so often do, an 'off' narration is unnecessary !

Once again........

what could have been a good book, was spoilt by some awful naration by the second narrator... didn't finish it !!

Narration

It’s not okay to say “spaz” or refer to an Irish person as “leprechaun”. The narrator reading cassies sections needs to work on intonations. Every sentence going up at the end is infuriating to listen to.
