The Amazon number one best-selling series

The hunt begins.

Sam Pope is back in the third action-packed entry in the international best-selling series.

After his one man war on crime takes him to the depths of the Ukrainian underworld, Sam Pope is accosted by an elite United States military outfit known as Blackridge. Under the threat of incarceration for his crimes, Sam agrees to join their squad when he finds out they are hunting his former mentor through Europe - Sergeant Carl Marsden.

Suspicious of their accusations of terrorism, Sam joins the hunt, hoping to get to him first and to find out why Marsden is running. As the chase intensifies and the body count rises, the truth about global terrorism and Project Hailstorm soon become terrifyingly clear. Hunted by two countries as well as a mysterious man in black, Sam faces his most dangerous mission yet.

Long Road Home is an action-packed thriller that will delight fans of Lee Child, Mark Dawson, Vince Flynn, and Rob Sinclair.

the narrator really needs to practice his accents, don't know what parts of manchester or new York he was doing but I was laughing my head off every time he tried them.

not a bad storyline

Another great instalment of the series. Really glad I stumbled onto the same pope saga. Each chapter as gripping as the previous one with twists and plot turns throughout. Once again the only thing that made me lose a star was the acting by the narrator. You can hear he is trying really hard to switch between characters often at pace but it doesn’t always come off and you end up with some strange accents that become comical and takes away from what at times is a serious moment in the book. That being said it’s only a minor point and can’t wait to start on the next book.

Another gripping title in this series

The series has really developed from the first book with some great characters and story line. along with the building on Sam Pope's character makes it a very enjoyable listen and I look forward to the next....
