Her scars are invisible to everyone but him.

Grace Castle lived through hell, and she’s never fully recovered. Nor may she ever. But she’s better than she was and now devotes her time and energy to helping other women, until someone connects her old life to her new one. Suddenly, she’s forced to do something that goes against her conscience, moral compass, and heart.

In the aftermath, her only choice is to seek redemption.

Former special forces soldier Logan Snyder is intimately familiar with captivity. He was taken, kept from loved ones, and irrevocably changed. Finally free, and with all his enemies dead, Logan is operating a security business with his team. Just as he’s moving on with his life, the world learns his incredible story.

And one woman is to blame.

When Grace appears in Cradle Mountain, Logan isn’t certain he can offer the absolution she seeks. As the couple attempts to build trust and overcome past hurts, Grace is unexpectedly in jeopardy when old demons cause new threats.

Danger has a way of putting everything in perspective. Logan can forgive the woman he’s coming to love, but it might be too little, too late.

I’ll be honest, going into this I thought I knew I would love the Blue Halo Team but that Grace would be a hard sell for me and it would take a while for me to warm up to her. In reality I don’t just love the Blue Halo Team, I blinking adore them….I think even more than the original Project Arma boys (Asher…..sigh….) Grace I totally fell for in about chapter 2. Her acceptance, and honesty around what she had done and how she faced up to it and what impact it had on the Team really made me do a 180. I loved how this series has been laid out so far, accentuating the differences between Blue Halo and Arma, not just continuing the story on from Kye. They are different people who have been through something simple but different and have their own personalities and challenges, and it shows. Logan is just swoonworthy, so angry in the beginning yet so accepting in the face of Grace wanting to almost be hated for what she had done. Their fall was epic to read, and the way he just knew how she needed him to give her space gave me butterflies. An exciting thrilling storyline underpins this book which reallly contains an awful lot of story, yet weaves it so well together. We have the Logan and Grace falling in love story, the people trafficking storyline as well as an introduction to all the team members, enough to get you salivating for their individual stories, and an introduction to Cradle Mountain, the side characters and the worlds most awesome coffee shop. Feels like it should be war and peace, yet it isn’t but doesn’t feel rushed at all.

I adored reading this book and was so excited to listen to it, not least because Aiden Snow is in my top 3 male narrators and has the ability to engage me into anything he narrates. He didn’t have to work hard here because the story is so engaging and the narrators do such an amazing job bringing the depth of this story to life as well as the beautiful cradle mountain. Beautifully performed, this book is enjoyable in any format

What a fantastic beginning to a new series by this talented author. I really didn't think that Nyssa Kathryn could match her fantastic Project Arma Series but this talented author has certainly succeeded. This book has been expertly brought to life by two talented narrators. This story certainly has it all, deception, redemption, excitement, romance. I highly recommend this production and am now eagerly downloading the next installment.
