Davey's on the down and out when he loses his girl, his job, and practically his sanity. While some men drown themselves in a forgiving bottle, Davey believes it's much more profitable to sink into Times Square's nightlife and lose himself inside Live Girls. They are the free ravishing pleasures who beckon Davey into a world of irresistible fantasy and ecstasy. One of them propositions him with a kiss, an insatiable kiss that leads him far from the misery he once felt to a demonic place where body and soul are sacrificed for obsessions.

An OK story but snowing it's age now. at times it seemed like a lot of mini stories stitched together. and as a result the flow was lost in parts. Overall an enjoyable listen but not worthy of more than 3 stars.

Rather convoluted

What made the experience of listening to Live Girls the most enjoyable?

A very well written story which the narrator performed to a high standard.

What did you like best about this story?

Live Girls is just a good old classic vampire story unlike a few of the newer tales which seem a little 'watered down'.

What about Mark Nelson’s performance did you like?

Mark Nelson does a fantastic job on all of the main characters in the story & he reads the tale in a way that makes you believe he is really enjoying it.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No emotional reaction but I don't ever think that was the author's intention, it is just a solid tale.

Any additional comments?

Ray Garton has written some excellent novels over the years & I have recently purchased 'The New Neighbor' which I am looking forward to listening to.

Classic horror

I reloaded several times but despite this there were parts missing from the recording and several moment where the story was inaudible due to overlapping of the narrators voice
