Özet

#1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz’s brilliantly thrilling novel of suspense.

In the midst of a raging blizzard, lightning struck on the night Laura Shane was born. And a mysterious blond-haired stranger showed up just in time to save her from dying.

Years later, in the wake of another storm, Laura will be saved again. For someone is watching over her. Is he the guardian angel he seems? The devil in disguise? Or the master of a haunting destiny beyond all time and space?

If you like to listen to escape the real world for a while and be entertained, this novel should do it. Nothing too heavy to grasp mentally, just a great yarn back and forth in time as one man sets out to right history and save the woman he loves.
The narrator does a great job with the voices of different characters (though Winston Churchill sounds more Irish than English).
It has a great story arc and plenty of detail and action to keep the momentum going.
Thoroughly enjoyable and would make a great film!

Excellent tale of time travel, love & endurance

The story is hugely far-fetched and the history at best dodgy. Equally the narrator is struggling a bit with his accents but boy what fun! :D

Guilty pleasure.
