The 14th thriller in the Spider Shepherd series promises even more unputdownable action from The Sunday Times bestseller Stephen Leather.

Working undercover is all about trust - getting the target to trust you and then betraying them in order to bring them to justice.

But what do you do when you believe an undercover cop has crossed the line and aligned herself with the international drugs smuggler she was supposed to be targeting?

When a deep-undercover cop stops passing on intelligence about her target, MI5 sends in Dan 'Spider' Shepherd to check that she is on the straight and narrow.

Now two lives are on the line - and Shepherd discovers that the real danger is closer to home than he realised.

As Spider finds his loyalties being tested to the limit, an SAS killer is on a revenge mission in London and only Spider can stop him.

As always a good read (or listen). But with the same voice being used for so many characters it was a bit confusing at times.
Spider is my favourite character in all the books I read, but this book wasn't quite as thrilling as usual saying that I did enjoy it, I just expected a little more umph.

Peter Parker has nothing on him!

Keeps you gripped from the first to last word from a great narrator. I can't wait for the next in the series.

Yet another great book

Great story with brilliant narration.
I felt that the last couple of Stephen Leather books were good but not great.
With Light Touch, he is really back to his best.
I'd strongly recommend this book.

Where does Light Touch rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Very good action all the way

Any additional comments?

Leather keeps you turning the page reveals an ugly word we don't really want to look at, but still some humour in there, Paul Thornley is terrific, my only comments are production could be better with intros to Chapters and more time between chapters.

Another great read from Stephen Leather
