Özet

The continuing story of the man who created Alton Towers big rides. The book takes over from where his previous best-selling book "Creating my own Nemesis" left off. As well as describing behind the scenes details of subsequent rides such as "Wicker Man", "The Curse at Alton Manor" and "Nemesis Reborn", the book discusses the origins and history of rollercoasters, dark rides, log flumes and other theme park attractions.

I could listen to John Wardley recount his various projects over the decades all day. It's brilliant to listen to him go into details on his experiences working and creating magic tricks, rollercoasters, dark rides and more.

I always especially love when he goes into detail on more of the technical aspects of his creations.

Thoroughly enjoyed every second, highly recommended for anyone who's listened/read the first book or is interested in the theme park industry or magic.

Maybe one day someone will build The Disaster Zone....

Another fascinating book from the legend himself!

I enjoyed the whole book. I’m not the least bit technically minded but even the very technical bits were interesting.

Just a great listen.
