Jeremiah 46: 14b — …WAKE UP! BE PREPARED! WAR’S COMING! Tears run down my cheeks.
"We Americans have no clue how to stand against persecution. We’ve watched it happen in other countries but never dreamed it could happen here."
"Rose, honey, we have the same Bible as those believers who continue to face all manner of torment and death," Seth searches my eyes before placing a kiss on my shaking hand, "all at the hands of authorities who labor under the direction of the enemy of our souls. We must study the Word and prepare as they have." I can hardly take a breath as the projector in my mind plays through the unbelievable events that have taken place in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
God is my shield and defender, the words bring comfort but they don’t fully restore my equilibrium. "Lord, I’m in despair for our country. I’m desperate for your answers and direction to make it through this perilous time." With no words left to pray, I lift my eyes to the heavens and listen for God’s reply. Matthew 5: 16 — …LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE.
