I had virtually thrown in the towel with regard to learning Italian, but came across this book and so many mysteries about the language were dispelled very quickly. With previous attempts I had stalled because
Certain elements didn't seem to penetrate my concentration and/or understanding. I found everything was explained perfectly AND I understood all that was conveyed. I have suddenly acquired a greater confidence with the language and eagerly anticipate a steady progress using this and the remaining books in the series. My grateful thanks go to Mr Noble et al.

I struggled with Italian, until now

The content (or 'story') is good; ie good relevant vocabulary for a beginner, repeated often and you get quickly into being able to use short sentences. The explanations are there to aid memory and they do work. There is a feel good factor in being guided to nearly always being right in responses, so , a very well designed course. My only criticism would be that there are references to lists at the back of the booklet for numbers etc. Listening on Audible, if there's a way to find them, I haven't found it.

Clear and concise. For me, learning was easy, and it was fun and engaging. Plus quick, good to learn a large amount of Italian 2 months before my holiday.

I have been learning Italian at evening class and really struggling. Pauls method makes it easier and teaches Italian conversation rather than bombarding the listener with grammar rules. I would recommend this.
