'Knowing me Alan Partridge, knowing you... a-ha!' A lot of people say that, when it comes to drama and comedy, the pictures are so much better on the radio. As Alan Partridge says, 'all those people are wrong'. There's a new chat in town as the hit programme comes live from BBC Television Centre, and Alan ushers on a variety of guests including horsewoman of few words Sue Lewis, powerful hypnotist Tony le Mesmer, fashion designer Yvonne Boyd, and husband and wife thespians Tania Baker and Gary Baker. There's also a whole edition of the programme broadcast from sexy Paris, city of French people. Joining Steve Coogan as he squirms his way across the easy chairs are Steve Brown, Minnie Driver, Rebecca Front, Melanie Hudson, Doon MacKichan, Patrick Marber and David Schneider.© and (P)1996, 2003 BBC Worldwide Ltd Entertainment & Performing Arts Literature & Fiction Performing Arts Satire Stand-up Shows Komik

It's good to be able to listen to, but it doesn't really work as an Audiobook, you need to have seen the series so you have the visual memory of what's going on.

Never fails to make me happy! Alan “aha” Partridge - I had this when it first came out on both cassette and then CD. What a time to be alive I can now listen to it on my phone! Back of the net!

Classic Partridge

Just want to listen to the show in order, not random clips from random guests in a random sequence

Random out of order clips

Ridiculous amount of material cut. Some of it doesn’t make sense because the lead in to a joke has been cut but the punchline hasn’t. Bit of a rip off. Very disappointing and patronising.

Most of the series cut
