Following the beloved #1 New York Times bestseller The Friday Night Knitting Club is this charming story of sisterhood.

At the Manhattan knitting store founded by Georgia Walker, the members of the Friday Night Knitting Club—including Georgia’s college-age daughter, Dakota—rely on each other for help, even as they struggle with new challenges: for Catherine, finding love after divorce; for Darwin, the hope for a family; for Lucie, being both a single mom and a caregiver for her elderly mother; and for seventy-something Anita, a proposal of marriage from her sweetheart, Marty, that provokes the objections of her grown children.

As the club’s projects—an afghan, baby booties, a wedding coat—are pieced together, so is their understanding of the patterns underlying the stresses and joys of being a mother, wife, daughter, and friend. Because it isn’t the difficulty of the garment that makes you a great knitter: it’s the care and attention you bring to the craft, as well as how you adapt to surprises...©2008 Kate Jacobs; (P)2008 Penguin Audiobooks Family Life Genre Fiction Kadın Kurgu Kurgu Literary Fiction Romantik Çağdaş Romantizm Evlilik

loved it. Loved the way everyone evolved. Struggled a little with some of the 'voices' in book 2, but thoroughly enjoyed it all the same.

thoroughly loved it

it's a lovely continuation of the first book

I enjoyed the first book but no so much this one. The narration (including a Scots accent that is up there with Dick Van Dyke’s cockney) took more of my attention that it should.

Narration detracts from the story

Love this book series. So I had to listen to knit 2. But oh my ears. Genuinely the worst accents. Wish she’d just read it straight, instead of the horrible attempts to indicate men were talking that just made them sound like pirates turned serial killers. Then with the Scottish/Italian mash up. Make it stop. Note to self. Avoid all books read by this reader.

Auditory misery.
