Katherine Ryan is known for being audacious and saying things as they are and she pulls no punches in baring her soul and exposing some private moments in her life that many would want to keep under wraps. She talks openly and hilariously about her weird and wonderful past relationships and years as a struggling stand up in a way that only Katherine Ryan can get away with. She lives her life on the basis that not everyone is going to like her and that laughing at yourself is fun and if we were all to take inspiration from her then the world would undoubtedly be a happier place. This is the sort of book that will make you laugh out loud and will want to listen to more than once. Five stars.

I enjoyed lots of parts of this book- the gossipy celeb stuff and Katherine's views and experiences with plastic surgery I found interesting because of her take on things. At times, ironically enough, I did find it a bit braggy- parts going on about potty training her tiny baby for example (btw I'm not even a parent) I just found a bit unnecessarily self congratulatory.

if you are female, gender fluide, queer+ you need this book to keep rocking at being you, if you are male and think women are too much you need this book but don t deserve it, if you are male and still learning you need this book it is a good lesson. It was entertaining, emotional, hilarious, makes you think and react and also soothing and good for mental health 🤗👏
