Jeffrey Archer's Kane and Abel was a global phenomenon when it was first released, selling over one million copies in its first week of sale, and it has captivated fans worldwide ever since.

They had only one thing in common . . . William Lowell Kane and Abel Rosnovski, one the son of a Boston millionaire, the other a penniless Polish immigrant – two men born on the same day on opposite sides of the world, their paths destined to cross in the ruthless struggle to build a fortune.

Kane and Abel is the marvellous story, spanning sixty years, of two powerful men linked by an all-consuming hatred, brought together by fate to save . . . and finally destroy . . . each other.

Jeffrey Archer's international bestseller is followed by the enthralling sequel, The Prodigal Daughter.

Absolutely superb listen, couldn't tear myself away from it, the characters are well drawn and the twists and turns of the plot kept me hooked till the end. My only disappointment is that the sequel the prodigal daughter, is only available in an abridged version on audible... Please put this right!!!

Superb listen

This book is a 'Sunday roast' of a story - traditional and filling. From page one you know what you are going to get, a good story and good narration. There were a few moments where I felt it was laid on a bit thick but overall I greatly enjoyed it.

A solid and enjoyable story
