The daughter of a vampire and sister of a devil walking, Valerie finds out she has something neither her brother nor her father possesses: she has honor.

Now, she needs to flee a brother who leaves her for dead. Because, if there is one thing Valerie understands it's that justice doesn't turn the other cheek.

One hundred fifty years after a near apocalypse, the world is rebuilding. Survival has become the only rule, and justice is in short supply. Now, justice has come calling.

Justice Is Calling is part of The Kurtherian Gambit Universe.

I really did enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The story was so interesting full of funny moments and action. All characters seem well done. Narration was really good. Great collaboration and authors notes. Waiting for next book.

Really awesome audiobook

Loved this title as their was a very good mix of details with regular action scenes with plenty of little insights into how the everyones relationship mattered.
A supernatural female warrior is not new ,but making it all about saving the humans and gain some honour for the main character whilst stopping the reversal of fortunes for the supernatural races was an inspired idea.
Placing it in the future with a broken society gives it a great chance to add in lots of futuristic tech whilst maintaining the sword, skill and gun play that is a pleasure to listen to.
Narration is excellent especially as their is so many strong females in this story which suits Kate. She does a good job with the male and female voices as well.
As soon as i finished this i was straight away looking to see what was available for more, definitely the best sign of a great story.
This title was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review and as such is my own opinion.

Innovative and Excellence in one place

Having read the e-book first and not always being a huge fan of audiobooks I was intrigued to listen to this as I love love love the e-book. I wasn't disappointed at all. I got swept along with the story so much that it bought a whole new level to the book. Kate Rudd is fantastic and really draws you in. However it's the fabulous story by Justin and Michael that makes it work so well.
I can't wait to find out what happens to Valerie and co next. (Book 3 is days away from release!).
I will definitely be trying more audio books after this result!

Vampires + Werewolves what more can a girl ask for

What does Kate Rudd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Kate did an excellent job narrating this book and is as responsible as much as the story was for me finishing listening to the entire book at 6am when I only planed to listen to a chapter or two the night before.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Apocalypse, Vampires and Werewolves. People may have survived but what of honour and justice.

Any additional comments?

This linked but separate story set in the Kurtherian Gambit Universe on Earth after the fall (its part of the main story arc, but only the setting for this sub arc) has got me as interested in the new characters as I was in the original ones. I can't wait to see how they evolve. The story felt different to the main arc but still belonged, it had me wanting more. If you like the main arc I am confident you will like this arc. It works well in both written and narrated form.

Kurtherian Universe fan, I think you'll like this
