Özet
Patricia Teller, an RN in the year 2000, yearns for simpler times where nurse’s efforts in support of their patients were primary. Despite the advantages of modern medicine, Pat fears the loss of nursing’s essence, the support for the living, and a smooth transition for those at the end of their lives.
When she engages with an ancient sepia photograph of a nurse in 1937, she’s drawn back in time to an unexpected reality. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the values that healers possessed in the past that are even more important today.
