I've read - and loved - ALL of Jane Fallon's books, but Just Got Real is her best yet! The plotting is as ingenious and entertaining as ever but this book has a lot of WARMTH and HEART. It's especially gorgeous on female friendship

Y'know when you find a book that you cannot wait to get back to, that you sneak time on your own with or cancel arrangements in order to read? Well this is one of those books. Had me gripped and spellbound. I kept saying to myself 'Just one more chapter'...and then a chapter later 'Okay, just one more'... I found it impossible to put down. Jane Fallon is SO good at human behaviour and what makes us tick. Fabulous characters and a story that just will not let you go! Loved it.

I enjoyed this book, so relevant for this era. Liked narrator felt she got into character better as story progressed

Great storyline. I loved the 3 main female characters. Loved the outcome... but did it leave it open for a sequel??? I hope so!
I agree with all other comments about narrator though.... not good. When 2 or more were having a conversation, there was no way of knowing who was saying what. The narrator didn't differentiate the various voices at all, she just read as if she was just reading out loud to herself. Good actress, probably a nice person, but not a good narrator at all!!!

This story had me cringing, laughing and nodding my head with understanding and recognition. So clever and with great characters I could identify with. Looking forward to the follow up.
