Loved this story from beginning to end. An unlikely business partnership between a professional hockey player, single dad,and his bosses little sister who have been pining for each other since they first met. Years later he rescues her from a baking competition disaster.
One bequeathment later her brother’s his best friend who happens to be the same hockey player to invest in her bakery business as he himself loves baking.
Soon the partnership goes beyond just business partners with the help of some love letters written by her grandparents they forge their own romance and bakery but every good romance has it’s hiccups to get to their HEA but it’s only a slight bump when their friends get involved.

This book was so good, it was just what I needed! I loved the banter and the tension, it’s everything you expect in a Lauren Blakely read and more. All the baking made me have so many cravings, be prepared to want to go bake stuff. And what’s better to do than listen to the audiobook while you do so? Nothing!

Loved it! I knew there would be connection to the previous series 💜 I’m glad that Corbin listened to everyone and realised that he should be with Mabel for both of them to be happy 😊
