I loved seeing Joker be vulnerable and tear down his walls to let someone in. I can't wait to see how he evolves with the "dirty" jokes in future books because he can't let that completely go.

This book we meet Joker and Brennan, Joker has always come across as a Joker and a bit arrogant. But is he really? He's always got a verbal comeback, riling up his fellow MC brothers and Brennan who is rebuilding the club.

This is a truly heartfelt book, it had me in tears at some points, there's love, hurt, trauma, deep issues and pain but I will say there a HEA. These books have been absolutely amazing and I've been loving them. The narrator is good although I do speed him up a bit.
Well worth listening to.

Honestly I wasn’t sure I would be super into jokers story after his less than likable nature in previous books but the authors did a good job making his struggles clear without starting a pity party or making excuses for his bad behavior! I liked Brennan a lot! He was perfect for joker and really brought out a surprisingly vulnerable and sweet side of such an abrasive character. This was a solid addition to my favorite motorcycle club series! The narrations was on point the whole way through and I just can’t wait for more!

This story is a heartbreaker. Joker has been so mistreated as a child he doesn’t know how to do relationships so he hides who he is. This story tears me apart how sad Joker’s life has been and how it’s formed him. Brennan is the perfect, patient guy for him. I think David Allen Vargo did a great job on the other mc’s voices but I didn’t feel the Joker voice he used quite fit. I was given a free copy from Gay Romance Reviews.
