Jaws is the classic blockbuster thriller that inspired the three-time Academy Award-winning Steven Spielberg movie and made millions of beachgoers afraid to go into the water. Experience the thrill of helpless horror again—or for the first time!

Jaws was number 48 in the American Film Institute's 100 Years...100 Movies, and the film earned the coveted number-one spot on the Bravo network's 100 Scariest Movie Moments countdown.

This timeless tale of man-eating terror that spawned a movie franchise, two video games, a Universal Studios theme park attraction, and two musicals is finally available on audio for the first time ever!

Nicely read by Mr Steele and an engaging enough listen but Benchley is a complete hack and the sex scenes are just embarrassingly out of place.

Not bad. Not brilliant, not rubbish just...

I've always loved the movie. Every so often I just pictured the actors..But the book was different from the movie the narrator was spot on n kept you gripped in your seat or should I say' fighting chair'!

Total jawssome!!

Story line was really captivating and the narration was superb but I still love the movie's storyline a lot more. Definitely worth a listen if you love the film.

Great but I prefer the film.

One of the few times that I felt that a movie has been better than the book.
There are a lot of threads that are left hanging.

The Wife having and affair with Hooper - doesn't have a pay off. Brody suspects but never finds out, the wife doesn't confess, there is no blowup between Brody and Hooper. it is a just a thing that happens outside of the flow of the story.

The Mayor's corruption and ties to a member of the Mafia... nothing comes from that. He faces no consequences whatsoever.

That scene in the bar where the kid talks about needing to deal drugs... doesn't pay off later at all.

Then the shark just... dies. not a spectacular death... it just. Dies.

So much of the story feels like it was added to get the book up to novel length.

huh... so this book doesn't do payoffs? (spoilers)

Excellent narrator. Easy to listen to while building suspense where needed. Love the book and the movie.

Always a favourite
