Prepare for a journey through the terrifying corridors of déjà vu with I’ve Done This Before, the first collection from NoSleep rising star Ryan Major.

A demonic assassin turns a man’s life into a deadly game of Groundhog Day. A strange job recruiter offers unusual and dangerous employment opportunities involving fighting monsters and transporting occult objects. A man describes growing up in a strange town with frequent emergency alarms when strange and dangerous creatures appear. A routine delivery to an impossible town exposes the thin veil between realities.

These tales and others unveil a horror that feels hauntingly familiar and yet strikingly new, as if these terrors have been etched into our collective psyche, forcing you to confront the chilling possibility: have I experienced these horrors in another life?

A sublime collection with both horror and sci-fi short stories, all characterised by the unknown, and expertly narrated by Geoff Sturtevant!

It is often said that fear stems from what we don’t know, therefore someone could surmise that by facing the unknown, we conquer our fears. Well, nothing good comes out of these stories for the characters who decide or are forced to brave the unexplainable. And there is a lot of weirdness and creepiness in this collection!

All the stories are very unique and because of the unknown as the prominent thread, I wasn’t able to predict what would happen in any of the stories. I maybe had a hint in one or two, but I was always caught unawares and therefore thoroughly enjoyed each one of them!

Thanks to the author and Velox Books for the opportunity to listen to it and this is my honest opinion.

Excellent collection of unique horror and sci-fi short stories!
