The epic conclusion to James Maxwell's gripping fantasy series.

The world is facing a war to end all wars, a confrontation that will destroy everything Dion and Chloe hold dear. With Palemon's dragon army growing in number, time is running out...

Dion is doing everything in his power to prepare his kingdom, but he knows it will not be enough. Although he needs Chloe's help, recent tragedy makes him terrified for her safety. Magic is dangerous. Only Palemon is too arrogant to see it.

As chaos engulfs the land and Palemon risks civilization itself, Dion and Chloe must unite people of all nations to have any chance of survival.

Good, well rounded characters. Story had lots of twists and turns to keep one listening.
The narrator did a great job with many differing voices, giving depth to the tale.

A fantastic finale to an epic series. If you've come this far there's no reason not to listen.

I'll be looking at the author's other works and the narrator Simon Vance, is excellent as usual.

Epic conclusion

Having listened to the previous books in the series, this was harder to complete. The story was less absorbing and the language used overly complicated to listen to (in my opinion). Glad to have completed the series but tough to persevere at times.

Struggled to stick with this one
