In Norway's far north, something unspeakable is surfacing… When a mutilated body rises from the icy waters off the jetty in Kjerringøy, it shocks the quiet coastal village – and stirs something darker beneath. Strong characters and compelling setting. However tendency to overblown horror and unlikely story lines. Sub-par narration with actor unable to pronounce certain words eg ‘quay’.

So-so sequel to Into Thin Air

I am really enjoying this series. The characters are great, stories intriguing and settings very atmospheric. The last book was narrated really well and I was very much looking forward to listening to this one but … the narrator has changed and I almost stopped listening. He sounded like AI and there were several repeated sentences. Why? This is a disservice to the author
