Someone has torn them apart in the past, and she plans to do it again.…As Nick and Quinn piece together the truth about the life they once shared, they discover it was much deeper and darker than they ever imagined. In order to keep history from repeating, Quinn will need to master her unusual gifts—but that means admitting to herself and to Nick why she stopped using them in the first place.
He may never forgive her when he learns the truth, but Quinn is running out of options—because the clock is ticking, and it’s no longer just her life that hangs in the balance.

Just like the first book, this one took me to a different world where love conquers all, even death, the unknown future and impossible phenomena.
Quinn and Nick were amazing characters and an even more amazing couple. They fought for each other, for what they believed and for their future together. The chemistry between them was undeniable and explosive.
Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor were brilliant as Nick and Quinn. They really brought the characters to life

Their story was addicting, and their love was all-consuming. This story picks up where Parallel left off, and I was even more invested in this story and the characters.
All the spice missing in book 1 is all here! 😂 Understandable after all this built-up tension between Quinn and Nick in book 1. And it still was integral to the plot, which I appreciated. (But no excuses, they just were so ho rny for each other)
What bothered me a little was Quinn. She repeatedly refused to believe the obvious & explanations in relation to time travel. I wish she had accepted the truth sooner and didn't constantly come up with excuses.
While we got to know Quinn and Nick as a couple more, the plot twists kept me on my toes, and I just wanted to know everything that was still in the unknown. I loved the overall development of the story and how everything came full circle.
Elizabeth O'Roark dives deeper into the time-traveling aspect and its consequences to the present. I felt like I couldn't fully grasp what was happening and kept guessing until the very end. But I was here for the ride, which made the time of the audiobook fly by fast!
➤ Overall the Parallel Duet has a unique story with a very satisfying conclusion!

Nick & Quinn’s continuing story is still filled with the perfect blend of characters, plot line, twists, turns and keeps you engrossed until the very last word is spoken. I can not get enough of this couple!
⠀
Once again, 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞 & 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐫 nailed the epic narration for Quinn & Nick in this story. They brought the listener all the angst filled emotions and made me feel as though I was watching a movie or seeing friends in real life rather than simply listening. They are perfect for these characters!
Another beautifully done story and I can’t wait for more!
