A Special Bonus Prequel to the Montgomery Ink Series

The moment Shea Little walks into his shop, Shep Montgomery knows he’ll do anything to win her heart…and get into her bed. Too bad the icy shield she puts up freezes any man who comes near. Shea has her reasons, and she’s not telling anyone, not even to a man who makes her want to swoon—something she’s never done before.

One touch can change everything; for these two, it’s only the beginning.

loved Shep and Shay's story. The way he saw who she was trapped inside and the way he gently coaxed her to come out was so sweet.
and yes I want to do bad things to her mother and not in a good way. why do mother's expect their children to compensate them for being born? you had the nookie, your kids didn't ask to be born (sorry a couple of my friends have this in rl and it irks me)
definitely true to life and loved it.
Shay once she came.ojt of her shell, knew she had the balls to go big when it came to the tattoo. the love of a good person will do that to you xx

loved whatching her blossom and spread her wings

This leading lady is so sweet. I love that she wants to change herself for the better to make a stand and be happy. A great performance.

A good introduction to the Montgomery Ink series. This version has what appears to be updated narration by Tor Thom. The book was not long enough to go too much in depth with the story but i don't that is a bad thing. I really enjoyed this sweet story and it made me interested in the family so I plan to listen to the rest of the series.

Short but Sweet
