JD Kirk
The explosive new Scottish crime fiction novel from Amazon best-selling author JD Kirk.
It all started harmlessly enough. An egged window, a deflated car tire, and a few garden gnomes knocked over. But then, the silent calls began–late nights and early mornings to landlines and mobiles, and numbers that no one should have access to.
At their wits' end, three former British Army soldiers, now living in the Highlands of Scotland, have no choice but to turn to the police for help.
And that is when the killing starts.
Brought in to lead the case, Detective Chief Inspector Jack Logan finds himself locked in a battle of wits with a meticulously organized murderer.
A murderer who has been planning all this for a very long time.
In Service of Death is the 17th book in the multimillion-selling DCI Jack Logan Scottish crime fiction series by JD Kirk. Perfect for fans of Iain Rankin, Chris Brookmyre, and Stuart Macbride.

Angus King's narration is excellent as always, bringing an individuallity to each character! Loved the Manchester tones as a break from the raw Scottish growls!
JD Kirk will have enough strong people in his library of featuring characters to keep writing books indefinitely, all such interesting personalities, leaving you wanting more! Not sure there are enough swear wears in the world for Hoon though! 😆
Yet another brilliant listen!
