A psychic beauty foresees peril for a troubled earl - and discovers unexpected passion - in the New York Times best-selling author's paranormal Regency romance.

For Chloe Wherlocke, it all begins with a vision - a glimpse into the future that foretells a terrible plot against Lord Julian Kenwood and his newborn son. Chloe's psychic gift allows her to save the child from certain death, but the earl remains in grave peril....

Julian Kenwood knows someone is trying to kill him, and he suspects his scheming wife and her lover are behind the plot. But Julian is shocked when Chloe, a captivating, dark-haired stranger, warns him that sinister forces are indeed at hand - and exposes a devastating secret that changes his life forever....

As Chloe reveals her plan to save Julian, neither can deny the attraction that grows each moment they're together. But Chloe knows that nothing could come of her desire for the high-born earl - until he reveals a love she never predicted.

Contains mature themes.

Hannah Howell is a great author however I have to wonder if she has ever listened to this narrator who has butchered this book. The story is presented in a wooden manner and the Welsh accent laughable I thought I had been transported to the streets of Delhi! The narrator has a lovely voice however is completely unable to speak as a male or any form of accents and would have been better off keeping her own voice and read the book with passion instead.

Story great narration terrible

Too many deaths, too much repetition, she just keeps seeing visions then they can't say if it's the uncle or the wife committing crimes, then visions of the crimes again and again with no end. Hardly any romance or happiness. Certainly not my kind of book.

Not for me

Enjoyed the regency setting of the story and the plot combined with the romance and psychic perspective. Would like to to have seen the follow on story of cousin Leo but he doesn’t seem to be in any future books.

A large family with varying psychic abilities.
