Özet
 A SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER

'Cussler is hard to beat' Daily Mail

The superb third Dirk Pitt classic from multi-million-copy king of the adventure novel, Clive Cussler.

The towering iceberg drifting in the North Atlantic was a floating tomb. Embedded in the great gleaming mass was a ship - sealed in so solidly that not even its mast protruded.

Here was a sea mystery to rank alongside the Bermuda Triangle and the Marie Celeste. But for Major Dirk Pitt, top troubleshooter for the National Underwater and Marine Agency, it was also the first link in a fantastic chain of events that would lead him too close - and too often - to violent death. And to the discovery of the most sinister and bizarre conspiracy of the century . . . ICEBERG.

Iceberg is a great action story, but it's dated, the way Clive Cussler writes about women in this book is indicative of the time. women should be arm candy nothing more.
I really do enjoy Clive Cussler's writing but In this book some of the dialogue was a bit "old school" for my personal taste.

Great Story but only if your a caveman.

great to see the older books by CC coming out on audible... not being able to read anymore it's great.

This was written in 1975 so is not completely "pc" but reflects attitudes at that time... as Dirk ages his character changes as do we all. Lucky for us this engaging chap still has many adventures in him yet +

Very good audio presentation. The novel is well paced and this comes across well. Scott Brick again delivers and this is a welcome addition to the Cusslerverse.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say I liked this book. OK, the story is far fetched but it's so full of action and excitement that it really doesn't matter. Dirk Pitt is like the proverbial Timex clock - he takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Actually I think that even the Timex clock would have broken under the amount of abuse that Pitt endures. :-) And let's just forget the books aah... views on women.

Scott Brick - good narration as usual.

Liked it.

This is a typical Dirk Pitt story, enioyable escapism. However, it is very much written in the 1970s and some of the language used to describe certain individuals could offend modern sensibilities.

Good but of its time
