It's been three months since Detective Iris Williams has been back to work. She has been on an extended medical leave, battling depression after she'd dropped the ball on the biggest case of her career - the apprehension of the 17-year-old serial killer, Stacey McHill. But instead of seeking treatment for her depression, Iris has been roaming the streets of New York City. The city's streets now haunt Iris, and paranoia has become her constant companion. The captain of the Double 0 precinct has placed Iris and Toni on desk duty, calling Iris an embarrassment to the department.

Meanwhile, babies are being snatched from their strollers in broad daylight and replaced by life-like dolls. The case has become extremely personal when Iris' great-niece is abducted by Stacey McHill. Now, Iris has to wrestle with the feeling of impending doom as Stacey offers up the baby's life for the lives of Detective Iris Williams and her partner and lover Detective Annette Toni.

For mature listeners only.

Not for the faint hearted and no punches are pulled. I really enjoyed this series and watching the progress of the twins. The only reason that I havent given it a 5 is that I feel a bit short changed by the ending (dont want to say more as spoilers). The narration was good and worked.

Good narration and story
