COULD YOUR PAST ACTUALLY BE YOUR FUTURE?

From the Sunday Times bestselling author of Just My Luck and Both Of You, comes a witty and insightful novel of relationships and whether you can ever escape your past…

Bella secretly married her childhood sweetheart, Stevie, over a decade ago. When the whirlwind romance unravelled, they parted ways, but never got around to divorcing.

Years later, Bella met Philip and spontaneously accepted his proposal, without ever finding the right moment to reveal the truth about her past.

Now happily married, Bella believes her secret is safe. That is until her best friend Laura introduces her new man – who is none other than Bella's husband number one.

And the only thing that could make this triangle more complicated would be if Bella and Stevie fall in love again…

Adele Parks writes two types of novels the Chicklit romantic comedy and then the psychological thrillers. I prefer the light hearted romantic contemporary listens.

I did enjoy listening to this story but I found it easy to guess what would happen next.

I did love that Adele Parks actually speaks herself at the beginning of when and why she wrote this book, which added a lovely personal touch.

The separate narrators were a great idea and made listening so much better.

I would recommend this book on a 2 for 1 credit, Daily deal or the £2.99 sale!

this is the first Adele parks book I have listened to and won't be my last , good story through out and read brilliantly by new ( to me ) actors.
I could picture every character.,even Stevie in his red jumpsuit.

very enjoyable listen

The reading by the Australian woman was too fast for my taste. It was difficult to understand at times; words merged.

Read too fast by the Australian for my taste,
