Four Buchanan brothers have found their brides…only three more to go in this scintillating romance from New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands…

Lady Dwyn Innes feels utterly out of place among the eligible women who’ve descended on Buchanan Keep, vying for the attention of the last unmarried brothers. She isn’t long-legged and slender like her sisters, or flirtatious and wily like other lasses. Since her betrothed died, Dwyn has resigned herself to becoming an old maid. Yet a chance encounter with a stranger in the orchard awakens her to a new world of sensation and possibility...

After weeks away, Geordie Buchanan returns to find his home swarming with potential brides, thanks to his loving but interfering family. But one lass in particular draws his attention from the moment he spies her climbing a tree. Lady Dwyn is not nearly as plain as she thinks. Her lush figure and eager kisses delight him, as does her honesty. But the real test lies ahead: eliminating a hidden enemy, so that he and Dwyn can seal their Highland passion with a vow.

This 8th book was fantastic but as I couldn't bear this narrator's voice in the 6th book of Ollie's story I wasnt really looking forward to listening to this one with the same narrator, but I got used to his voice this 2nd time round and he sounded a bit better. I love this series because i love that all the brothers are in every story, with all their wives included so i have listened to them all again before I started the next one, Rory's story, which im really looking forward to as it is read by one of my favourite narrators, Derek Perkins , love his voice, especially the heros' voices.

This story was soooooo good I just couldn't stop listening. it's one brilliant story after another. I really hope that besides Rory's and Alec's stories there will be the stories of Dywn's isters, Una and Eilean ( not sure about the spelling). Maybe a story about Una and Macgregor. And also maybe Gavin Mcleod's story too.
Now on to the next one, Rory's story.

Fantastic story

I love. This series . It makes me laugh and takes me away from the cards of the world. A good escape.

Enjoyable

After all the years of listening to HR stories, it is lovely to find a series where I continually don’t spot the twist/culprit before the reveal!

As others have said the previous book in the series by this narrator was certainly below par but this one definitely makes up for it.

On to the next book now!

Love this series!

I was critical of the previous narration by Joel Froomkin but it must have been an anomaly. This book was perfect. Lynsay Sands writes great stories of love, intrigue and humour and Joel did a brilliant job. I don't always write a review but I need to make amends to Joel. As previously said, the heroines are feisty young women who have caught the attention of sex gods. This narration was spot on.

Love these Buchanans
