A chilling psychological twister of a audiobook, laced with homespun horrors, a compelling central character and a strong contemporary resonance.

Lee, southeast London. A young girl has disappeared. There are no witnesses, no leads, no clues. The police are tracking a shadow, and time is running out....

DI Ellen Kelly is at the top of her game - at least she was, until she took the law into her own hands and confronted her husband's killer. Now she's back at work, leading the investigation into the missing child. Her superiors are watching her; the distraught family is depending on her. Ellen has a lot to prove. And she knows it.

A tense thriller that stalks the urban streets of southeast London and the bleak wilderness of the North Kent coast, Hunting Shadows introduces the forceful, compromised police detective, DI Ellen Kelly.

Excellent book. The 1st Sheila Bulger book that I've listened to but I'm about to download the 2nd. Brilliant story, sad in places but kept you wanting to know what happened until the end. This is my 411 audible book so I don't do praise lightly. Well done Sheila and Zara for the brilliant narration.

Really enjoyed this book .. narration was good , story line was great .. Only tiny tiny negative was there was , at one point especially, a lot of ‘ she said ‘ ‘ he said ‘ at the end of each spoken line .. A story should be good enough to know whose Saying what .. but that’s the only little bug bear I have in books that do that

Cracking book. Well worth a listen
