I loved this from start to finish - excellent characters, narration and story.

I did find myself drifting into thought about my own time line and nostalgia club - very thought provoking and oozes nostalgia of a time I remember so well.

The Malky wisdom, and back stories of the other characters were excellent as short stories in their own right too.

Looking forward to more from the author and narrator.

Beautifully Crafted Story and Narration

By the time this book ended I was enthralled. It unfolds in a really fantastic and ultimately highly emotional way. Is was in tears by the end. Recommended

A slow burn for me personally but loved it

Warning spoilers…
One thing that niggles me is one of the characters that calls every dog she has the same name. Who does that? What a weirdo!
One major floor I saw was one of the integral characters (Adam) piloting his younger self and decides to stay in the past. Whilst in the present his body is withering away. Ultimately if he dies in the present, he dies in the past too. No one points that out to him.
The narration was ok except for that Geordie accent 🙄.
Story was likeable and some of the characters were believable. You’d definitely try and place a bet on the lottery though wouldn’t you? 😆

spoilers - have enjoyed the story but there seems a real plot hole at the end. Going on the premise that any slight change can affect the future, surely staying and comforting Kate while Peter died might affect their marriage for the good and mean they might not divorce, but that was just brushed aside.
