Meet Buddy. Buddy is a doggy, and he’d very much like to be your friend. How would you like to come under the table on a scrounge with him? But wait! First, you can’t be human. You have to be a doggy like him. Do you think you can? Don’t worry, Buddy will show you how and then you can eat an afternoon tea together. Well…kind of!
Join Buddy under the table as he takes you under his wing (or paw) and teaches you how to love the quintessentially British tradition of a yummy Afternoon Tea! A fun, interactive story for 3–6-year-olds, Hound on a Scrounge also includes a brief history lesson on how Afternoon Tea came to be—the true version as Buddy sees it! Don’t miss this ulti-mutt-ly charming story that will have everyone’s tails wagging!
Bio:
Hoping to educate and entertain, as well as involve the young listener, Maria’s debut also includes a bit of history. When not writing, she enjoys taking the real hound out on long walks and spending time with her family. She also loves to bake, sing, and paint but sadly has not mastered doing all three at the same time. For more information, please visit her website: Maria-Bucci.com
