Özet

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Hide and Seek by M J Arlidge, read by Elizabeth Bower.

Helen awaits trial in a crumbling women's prison in Southampton. She has a fight on to prove her innocence from inside her prison cell, but this soon turns out to be the least of her worries.

A serial killer is picking off fellow inmates, thriving in an environment where there is truly nowhere to run. Is it a criminal giving in to their dark urges or a member of the prison staff preying on the captive population?

Helen must work fast to reveal this devious killer, all the time wondering if she will be next on her list . . .

Having read all of this series this one was a bit far fetched and the storyline much more predictable than its predecessors. I will still purchase the next one though and look forward to a return to the usual excellent storylines and fuller characters.

Slightly disappointing

What made the experience of listening to Hide and Seek the most enjoyable?

Loved this - the story of both inside and outside the 'prison'. The narration was great and really can't wait to see what is next for Helen Grave

Who was your favorite character and why?

Love the main character, Helen Grace. Just a work of 'art' from M J Arlidge!

Which scene did you most enjoy?

As the story starts to climax but I can't say too much and give it all away!!

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Few 'huh' moments when you are wondering what is around the corner so to speak!

Any additional comments?

Just loved it - can't wait for the next and really enjoyed Elizabeth Bower too - will keep an eye on her as well as MJ A!

Another great!

Brilliant twists and drama. I didnt think it would work being set in the prison, but it does.

Worth waiting

I want to like this book but I am a bit fed up with the main character having the world against her. I feel a bit cheated and I just want to inject a bit of reality and fairness into the plot.

Good but not believable

Very good book, very thrilling . I kept in the book 99% of the time and it became quite addictive , penguin books tend to have the best readers. The detail in this book allows your imagination to recreate and bring a strong visual representation of the book to your mind. The twist is a good twist but not too sharp so you aren't left confused. Will look for another good penguin book as this was my second.

First long haul book!
