Bosworth 1485: After victory against King Richard III, Henry Tudor becomes King of England. Rebels and pretenders plot to seize his throne. The barons resent his plans to curb their power and he wonders who he can trust. He hopes to unite Lancaster and York through marriage to the beautiful Elizabeth of York.

With help from his mother, Lady Margaret Beaufort, he learns to keep a fragile peace. He chooses a Spanish Princess, Catherine of Aragon, as a wife for his son Prince Arthur. His daughters will marry the King of Scotland and the son of the Emperor of Rome. It seems his prayers are answered, then disaster strikes and Henry must ensure the future of the Tudors.

Needs to leave pauses when story skips a few years. Very unconvincing accents. Tone of voice is very mournful

Poorly performed

Henry VII, Grandson of Owen Tudor who married Catherine of Valois and formed the roots of the Tudor Dynasty. I love this piece of history of the Tudors and the history of the Wars of the Roses. Margaret Beaufort always interests me, she fought relentlessly to place her son Henry on the throne of England even though it looked so unlikely at times. They are all prominent figures in the history of Kings of England. Very well written by Tony Riches and very well narrated by James Young, I've very much enjoyed the whole trilogy. And I also enjoyed Mary -Tudor Princess by the same author. 👑📚

I enjoyed the book. It is a book of interest I found when I couldn't sleep. It relaxed me and I retained what I herd. Yes a 👍.

A well written , well researched book. Only criticism is the narrator. Not the best, and a bit off putting.

Well researched. Very well written

The above says it all. The story is well known with no fresh angles. The narrator is frankly irritating- inflections all wrong - terrible accents. I won't be choosing a book narrated by him again!

Dreadful narration
