A gargoyle statue that's more than stone...

Tracy isn't sure why she's drawn to a particular statue in the Goth club where she works. When her drunk ex threatens her after her shift, stone turns to flesh. Danton shifts to protect Tracy, the woman he has longed for. He only has 24 hours before he returns to stone. Can he convince her to spend it with him?

Heat is a novella, the first of the gargoyle shifter romances in the Underground Encounters series, set in a club that attracts supernatural creatures. Each features a different couple - and, perhaps, species - and can be listened to on its own.

Step into Vamps, a thrilling new world of steamy paranormal romance featuring sexy shifters, thirsty vampires, passionate witches, smoldering rock stars, and gorgeous gargoyles. Don't miss this Night Owl Reviews top pick! If you like paranormal romance and smoking-hot shifters, don't miss Heat.

I love the world Lisa Carlisle has created, and the characters are diverse, colourful, and absolutely amazing. I'm completely hooked on the series. The storyline is wonderfully written, and it centres around Danton, a super hot gargoyle and Tracy, a human drawn to his statue. Their story unfolds perfectly; it's engaging, suspenseful, passionate, and steamy.

The dual narration by Amber Lee Connors and Kieran Flitton is spot-on, they captured the characters' personalities and their connection. Heat is a fabulous paranormal romance listen, one I strongly recommend.

So good!

This one brings interesting characters, heat and a bit of quirky humour to the party making this a fantastic short story. The storyline was tightly formed and I just could not stop until the end. If the author ever wanted to write more for this couple I couldn’t click it fast enough
