Two weary strangers are about to rest their burdens in Eternity Springs, where there's hope for every broken heart.

Haunted by the loss of his wife and son, Daniel Garrett left the police force to devote his life to finding missing children. But he still hasn't found a way to mend the wounds of his past - until he attends a wedding in the small mountain town of Eternity Springs and meets a beautiful, intriguing woman who offers a glimpse of something Daniel thought he'd never have again. Sometimes life gives us a second chance at love.

Shannon O'Toole isn't looking for romance. Ever since her fiancé's death, she's created a quiet life for herself restoring Victorian cottages. Still, she can't deny her attraction to the handsome, broad-shouldered stranger. Daniel makes her feel things she hasn't felt in years - including the desire to share her secrets. But can Shannon trust a detective when doing so could bring danger to her cottage door? In Eternity Springs, anything - and everything - is possible.

Another lovely heart warming story from Eternity Springs. I have enjoyed listening to many of these stories, not necessarily in the right order but nevertheless I have enjoyed them all. Emily March has a great way of telling compelling and interesting stories. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable easy listening

Love the series from Emily, always a happy endings. Much needed in this crazy world.
Also like when characters get cross referenced.

This is the second Emily March I’ve listened to courtesy of the audible membership inclusion.

I deliberately seek out books with heart, a love story, likeable characters and a strong plot and, for me, an all important, pleasing ending, These somewhat narrow criteria and an in-built requirement of the predictability of a happy conclusion, can lead to some rather silly narratives lacking emotional depth.

Happily this was not such a title. With a little of the Nora Roberts - in her less violent mode, there was the tension of characters grappling with profound tragedy, in fear for their lives, wrapped in an element of mystery pulsing as romance unfolds.
This is undeniably easy listening but which I thoroughly enjoyed listening to apace.
And the Christmasy looking ‘cover’ is misleading it’s (for me) thankfully, not another Christmas themed tale.

One of the best titles in Audible’s membership

Great story and flowed well, however narrator’s attempt at some male voices made them almost sound robotic.
