I had the candle...and victory over the Lich within reach...then everything went to hell.

Vexa Tzarnavaras, funeral home assistant and amateur necromancer, is trapped within her own mind, isolated from everyone who cares about her, unable to help as Aethon, her 600-year-old power crazed ancestor, goes on a destructive rampage.

Her lovers Ethan, the cursed werewolf, and Gwydion the exiled Unseelie Fae, worry for her; but only Cole, the once rival necromancer turned ally and lover, can reach her. But the intimacy of sharing minds, and the secrets he hides, makes him reluctant to give Vexa the support she needs.

As she struggles to battle her own demons and return to who she was before, Vexa’s journey takes her down strange paths into a place far beyond the imaginable.

Secrets are uncovered. Truths are revealed. And the battle for the Candle rages on.

Just wow, an exciting, rollercoaster of a read, that had me hanging on every word, unable to put it down. The surprises just keep coming, and the tension increasing as the series progresses, keeping the reader on their toes. Vexa and her merry band of men have me hopeleslly hooked, and desperate to know whats next for them all. Krys's wonderful narration made this a treat to listen to, I can't wait for next book. I received this book in exchange for my unbiased review.

Need the next book!

this one was a little different from all the others as the main focus was on Vexa most of the time as she had to deal with a lot of self reflection stuck where she was. I enjoyed the parts with her and Cole and can't wait to see where the love story goes with all involved. on to the last book ☺️

narrator as always is doing a great job.

a new spin

I thought this was the final book and I looked forward to answers. Now I’ve got even more questions and I have to wait 🙁 I still loved the book I’m just impatient.

I loved this so much and i need the next one like yesterday. This series has everything, drama, action a fast pace, fantastic narration and an amazing reverse harem. Twists and turns hide through this series and I loved every moment of just thinking what, how did the author come up with that?
